What/Where is the marketing reference code on my catalog?
  • Our marketing materials include reference codes for two reasons. First reference codes enable us to quickly identify which advertising piece you are using to make your purchase. Second reference codes are used as a qualifier for special offers and promotions.
  • Reference codes are typically printed just below the address label on mailers and on the back cover of catalogs and brochures. Reference codes are also printed in the terms and conditions of advertised promotions to make redemption of special offers fast and easy.

  • The minimum order size is $25.00 regardless of the shipping selection.

What is an overpack charge?
  • An overpack is a heavy duty corrugated box designed to protect especially fragile lamps during shipping.
  • Overpacks are manufactured with a heavier corrugate and are produced specifically as a protective barrier.
  • The additional charge ensures that you receive your bulbs undamaged.
  • Items requiring an overpack are specifically designated on our website with this icon:

What is your return policy? Are there restock fees etc.?
  • New and unused product may be returned by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1-877-231-2852. We will assign you an RGA (Return Good Authorization) number which must be noted on the outside of the box that is being returned to Lighting Supply Company.
  • Sorry we can’t accept returns of non-stock or special order items nor can we be responsible for the shipping charges incurred when returning the products to our facility.
  • A 15% re-stocking fee may be charged to select returns; ask our Customer Service Department for details.

Do you deliver?
  • Our Lighting Supply Company trucks deliver within Metro Detroit Michigan. All other orders are shipped with a common carrier such as UPS. Larger orders may be shipped with a trucking company.

How quickly will my order be filled?
  • 98% of the orders placed will be shipped complete the same business day.
  • Our goal is to process all orders within 24 hours of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST). If we encounter any problems processing or shipping your order you will be contacted the next business day.

What happens if my delivery is damaged in transit?
  • Please accept the damaged shipment note the damage on the carrier’s delivery log and call our Customer Service Department at 1-877-231-2852 for a replacement or credit to your account.

How are shipping charges determined?
  • The standard shipping charge is $9.95 per order anywhere in the continental United States.
  • Certain items such as fluorescent tubes more than 4 feet in length are exempt from the above. On exempt items the customer pays shipping charges regardless of the size of the order. These special items are specifically designated on our website with this icon:

What types of products does Lighting Supply Company offer?
  • We specialize in commercial/industrial lighting fixtures and have approximately 6500 products in stock. We do not stock decorative incandescent fixtures such as chandeliers and track lighting systems however we do offer compact fluorescent decorative fixtures for commercial properties.
