The Back Story

Eugene Sherizen founded Lighting Supply in 1983 as a small "light bulb" business in his parents' living room, buying and selling bulbs and ballasts to electrical contractors in Metro Detroit.  From day one he focused on operating a business that gave people exactly what they wanted, understanding the value of customer loyalty.  Many of those first customers are still doing business with Lighting Supply today.

More than 25 years later, Eugene’s dedication to customers remains the driving force behind Lighting Supply--which now employs over 60 people and services thousands of customers nationally, from a 60,000 square foot distribution facility in Michigan. In fact, all business decisions are made with one question in mind: How will this benefit our customer?
